Chapter 464:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Sara had thought the Lu would find her, but she hadn’t expected it to be so soon.
The day after she returned to Benin, Griselda called her.
Sara was a little surprised.
She hadn’t expected Griselda to have her number. However, she remembered that the Lu Family had already checked her out.
How could Griselda not have her contact information?
“Miss Sara, I am Leo’s mother.”
Griselda’s voice was calm and nonchalant.
Hearing her self-introduction, Sara raised her eyebrows and asked politely, “How can I help you?”
“Miss Sara, do you have time? I want to see you.”
“Face to face? I’m afraid that’s not convenient.”

One was in Benin, the other in the capital.
How were they going to talk face to face?
“I’m in Benin.”
Sara had nothing to say.
She had thought she might escape, but now it seemed she had to see the Lus.
If that was it, that was it.
Sara made an appointment with Griselda. Then she said goodbye to Lina before driving to the agreed place.
As soon as she entered the cafeteria, Sara saw Griselda sitting by the window.
She approached and greeted politely, “Nice to meet you, Griselda.”
Griselda, who was sipping coffee graciously, heard the voice and her eyelids lifted slightly.
Griselda smiled, “Enchanted.”
Sara smiled and sat down across from her.
Sara ordered a cup of coffee at random.
When the barista left, she looked at Griselda with a polite, distant smile. “If you have something, you can say it directly.”
Griselda raised her eyebrows. “Is Mistress Sara that impatient?”
“No, I simply don’t want to waste her time.”
“Since I came to Ben expressly to visit her, I’m not afraid to waste my time.”
Griselda smiled at her and took a sip of coffee before slowly saying, “I came to see you this time to talk about Leo.”
Sara wasn’t surprised, “Well, I know you’re here for Leo’s sake. So, how much are you planning to offer me to leave Leo to me?”.
At her words, Griselda let out a chuckle, “You think I’m here to separate you from Leo?”
“Don’t you?” asked Sara.
“Indeed, no.”
Sara was astonished, “Are you kidding me?”.
If she wasn’t here to separate Sara and Leo, what else could she do?
There was no way she could support them.
Griselda smiled and said, “I’m not kidding you. This time, Leo’s father asked me to give you a blank check and you put in the amount. As long as you can leave Leo, his father can pay you any amount you want.”
Was this the only way a wealthy family could get by?
Sara scoffed, “What if I said I want the whole Lu Family?”
Griselda’s expression stiffened for a moment before she smiled and said, “You’re not that greedy.”
Sara raised her eyebrows and said, “Then you’re wrong. I am a very greedy person. The number of checks I can write is limited, but Leo has unlimited value. So I find it a better deal to be with him.”
“Have you really become infatuated with Leo’s familiar surroundings to be with him?” Griselda frowned and looked at her with some uncertainty.
Sara smiled, “What else do you think?”
Griselda’s expression darkened and he looked at her with some wariness.
“If I were to tell you that I support you being with Leo, but you have to make Leo abandon the Lu Family, would you be willing?”
“Abandon the Lu’s?”
In an instant, Sara understood.
Did Griselda come to her for this matter?
Support her and let Leo give up the Lu’s inheritance, right?
Nice try .
