Chapter 468:.
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
The grudge between Rorey and Hazel stemmed from David, but LEG, the company they both worked for, allowed them to finish a commercial together.
Manuel Song, president of LEG, did it for a simple reason.
He wanted them to put their grudges behind them and get along, but he had underestimated jealousy between women.
“If she’s in this ad, I won’t be.”
When Hazel saw Rorey on the set, her face darkened.
Hazel immediately told her agent.
“Hazel, because of the scandal, you’re not as popular as you used to be. You have far fewer endorsements and invitation programs. Almost zero. It’s a unique opportunity for you that this company is allowing you to promote their product. If you don’t take advantage of the opportunity, no one will give you another one.”
She understood what her agent meant, but when she thought about shooting a commercial with Rorey, she felt very uncomfortable.
It was Rorey who got her into trouble.

Hazel couldn’t forgive her at all.
How could she be in the same ad with Rorey?
“I won’t. I mean it. I’ll take the consequences,” Hazel said firmly. She ignored her agent’s sullen face and turned away.
Just then, a high-pitched voice rang out, “Oh, Hazel, are you leaving already? Are you giving up on this ad?”
It was Rorey.
Hazel paused and turned around. Her cold gaze settled on Rorey, who looked complacent. Hazel grimaced derisively, “Yeah, I’m quitting. I won’t work with a slut. She disgusts me too.”
Hearing this, Rorey’s expression changed. He shouted at Hazel in a shrill voice, “Hazel, who are you calling a slut?”.
Hazel smiled coldly.
“The person who talked back to me.”
Rorey was so angry that her eyes went wide.
Then she sneered, “You’re nothing but a mistress. You have no right to call me a slut.”
Hazel said coldly with a face of disgust, “I’m not a mistress! Rorey, you know the truth better than I do.”
“Of course I do.” Rorey scoffed. “You secretly fell in love with David in college. Unfortunately, David never even noticed you, until you took the opportunity to seduce him when I was pregnant. Am I right?”
Hazel looked at her silently.
“Hazel, you can’t hide the truth,” Rorey said, looking at the onlookers around them with mockery on his face.
Hazel glared hatefully at Rorey, who also glared back. The atmosphere was embarrassing.
“Hazel!” Hazel’s agent tugged Hazel’s hand and whispered in her ear, “The president assigned you the job. Don’t let him down. You have to do the job.”
Hazel turned to look at her agent with a cold smile.
“Then please tell him I’m not going to accept this ad!”.
She glared fiercely at Rorey and walked away.
The agent looked back at her and said angrily, “Why is she so stubborn?”
“You’d better not work for Hazel, or you won’t make a profit,” Rorey said mockingly.
The agent turned around and glared at Rorey.
In fact, if it weren’t for Hazel’s perspective, he wouldn’t have asked her to work with Rorey.
Everyone knew what kind of person Rorey was.
She stole her sister’s fiancé and even set her up. She was worse than a bitch.
Although that was the case, LEG was trying hard to increase her popularity.
Thinking about this, Hazel’s agent felt disgusted. He secretly swore that the higher-ups in the company were stupid.
He did not want Hazel to lose to such an embarrassing woman.
Therefore, he rushed after Hazel.
Seeing that Hazel and her agent had left, Rorey reached up and brushed back her long hair.
She looked at those who were staring at her.
Seeing Rorey, they lowered their heads and pretended to be busy with their work.
Rorey snorted coldly, walked to her resting place and sat down.
In a corner of the study, there was a man who looked hesitant.
“Sara, should we interview her now?”.
It was the first time Raye had worked on an interview with Sara, only to find herself in such an awkward situation.
She had known the rancor between Hazel, Rorey and Sara, so she had to ask her permission before interviewing her.
“Why not?” Sara asked him.
“Well…” Raye was surprised by her answer and stammered.
She thought she would be embarrassed and decide not to interview Rorey.
Noticing Raye’s surprise, Sara patted her on the shoulder and said earnestly, “Raye, we’re reporters. So no matter what, we have to do our jobs and be professional.”
“Agreed.” Raye nodded and said, “Then… Let’s go!”.
Sara laughed helplessly and hurried after him.
Murphy had decided to launch a magazine at a time when online media was popular.
Many meetings had been held in the company to position the magazine.
According to the final decision, the magazine would focus on fashion, along with celebrity interviews.
So Sara and Raye went to interview Ann, a well-known manager in the entertainment industry, especially in the advertising sector.
But Sara didn’t expect Rorey to appear in that ad.
What a coincidence.
When Rorey saw Sara, he was at first surprised and then scoffed,
“What a bad day! I ran into Hazel and then you. Woe is me.”
Sara raised her eyebrows, “I’m the one who was unlucky.”
If it weren’t for the fact that she had already been there and had to do her job, she would have left.
Rorey looked at the camera on his shoulder and narrowed his eyes.
“When did you get here?”
“A long time ago.”
“So, you saw Hazel and me…”
“I saw you.”
Sara interrupted her and said, “Don’t worry. I’m not interested in your business.”
Rorey glared at her, obviously not believing her.
Sara couldn’t help but laugh, “Rorey, are you worried that I filmed what happened between you two for the news?”
Rorey remained silent.
Sara laughed derisively, “You’re not popular. I don’t want to waste my time with you, and no one is interested in you.”
Rorey’s face darkened and he looked at Sara with hatred in his eyes.
‘Let’s wait and see. Sooner or later, you’ll pay the price for what you’ve said’ Rorey thought.
