Chapter 469:.
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Sara didn’t continue talking to Rorey because Ann arrived.
Sara had seen the interviews with Ann.
She had also seen Ann’s work.
Ann was indeed a very talented director.
More importantly, she was a woman in her early thirties.
As she had informed Ann before she came, Sara approached her directly and held out her hand, saying with a smile,
“Hi, I’m Sara from TEG.”
Ann was surprised at first, but quickly pulled herself together. She grabbed Sara’s hand and smiled back, “Hi, I’m Ann.”
After greeting each other, as Ann still had work to do, Sara and Raye sat off to the side and quietly watched as Ann led the others as director.
“That’s great!” said Raye.

Before coming to interview Ann, Raye had made preparations. She had seen her pictures. She used to have long hair. Although
Although she wasn’t very pretty, her temperament was noticeable, which fixed people’s eyes on her.
However, to her surprise, she was different from before.
Her short hair showed off her fine features.
She was dressed in a neutral suit and looked very fresh.
If Raye hadn’t seen her with his own eyes, he wouldn’t have believed that such a cool woman existed.
Sara looked at him and smirked, “What, now she’s the girl of your dreams?”
“No, my dream girl has always been Alfred.”
Even though Ann was cool, Raye still liked nice, pretty girls.
Sara arched her eyebrows and turned to look at Ann.
Raye was right. Ann was very cool and strong.
Compared to Ann, Rorey was like small potatoes rather than a star.
“Where’s the other actress?” Ann looked around, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.
There should be two actresses, but only one showed up.
“The other actress refused to accept the ad.”
Someone whispered in Ann’s ear.
Ann frowned.
“Without her, how are we going to shoot this ad?”
Her work schedule was packed, and she had already found time to shoot this ad.
If the ad couldn’t be shot, the sponsor could only find someone else to do it.
So Ann asked her assistant to inform the sponsor.
Before the assistant made the call, a voice suddenly rang out, “Sorry, director, I’m late.”
Sara did not expect Hazel to return.
She saw Hazel walking toward Ann. Because of the distance, Sara couldn’t hear what they were saying, but Ann seemed sullen.
Then, Hazel’s agent leaned toward Ann. It looked like she was apologizing.
Finally, they began to roll the announcement.
Raye looked at Rorey and Hazel, who were giving each other a fake smile on the set, and shook her head, “The sponsor would definitely regret hiring them as spokespersons.”
Sara laughed, “The die is cast.”
She really didn’t understand why that company would let Rorey and Hazel work together.
Hadn’t they seen the news and heard about their quarrels?
Still, the commercial was shot without a hitch.
Sara was amazed that they were able to put aside their grudges in front of the camera and act very friendly with each other.
If they had acted so professionally, they would have been given an Oscar.
As soon as the commercial was over, Hazel left without even removing her makeup.
She didn’t seem to want to spend another second with Rorey.
When Ann finished her work, she turned to Sara.
“Sorry to keep you waiting,” Ann apologized.
Sara smiled and shook her head.
“That’s all right. I can see how you do your job. It’s also very helpful for the interview.”
Then she held up the camera in her hand and said, “I took a few pictures of you at work. Do you mind if I use them for this interview?”
“I don’t mind.”
Ann smiled and shook her head.
Rorey lifted her head so the makeup artist could remove her makeup, but kept looking at Sara, who was talking to Ann.
When she saw Ann and Sara walk out of the studio in harmony, she lowered her head and startled the makeup artist, “Rorey…”.
Rorey looked at the makeup artist and then looked in the direction of Sara and Ann.
However, she could no longer see them.
Rorey couldn’t help but frown.
Ann was rumored to be gentle and modest.
She didn’t put on airs at all, which made it easy for people to approach her.
The whole interview went smoothly and the atmosphere was very harmonious.
“Ann, thank you very much for your cooperation.”
After the interview, Sara smiled and held out her hand.
Ann took her hand and said with a smile, “You are welcome. It was very nice to meet you.”
Sara and Raye looked at each other and smiled.
Then they said, “We’re pleased to meet you, too.”
Ann let go of his hand, looked at the watch on her wrist and then looked at them. “It’s almost dark – why don’t we have dinner together?”
“Good idea!”
Raye agreed without hesitation.
Sara looked at him helplessly and smiled apologetically at Ann.
“Ann, I’m afraid I can’t. I have something else to do.”
“Can’t you put it off?” asked Ann with a smile.
Actually, Sara had an appointment with Yayoi.
Sara looked at Ann, who was smiling, and hesitated.
It would be rude to refuse Ann’s invitation.
After thinking about it for a while, she finally made up her mind.
Yayoi and Juliet were her good friends anyway, so she could stand them up and explain later.
So she smiled and nodded, “Okay, I’ll fix it after dinner.”
A brighter smile appeared on Ann’s face when Sara accepted her invitation. “I’m glad you’re willing to have dinner with me.”
Sara smiled and said, “It’s an honor to have dinner with you.”
Ann laughed.
“Actually, you don’t need to compliment me. I don’t. You don’t like complimenting others, do you?”
Sara raised her eyebrows in surprise, “How can you tell?”
Ann smiled, “Your eyes are pure and clear. You look honest. Honest people don’t usually like to compliment others.”
Sara smiled sheepishly.
Suddenly, Ann took a long look at her and said in a serious tone, “Actually, you are very suitable for publicity. You must look very pretty in front of the cameras.”
As a director, Ann had authority in this regard.
Sara smiled and shook her head, “I don’t like the camera.”
She really didn’t like exposing herself on camera.
