Chapter 470:.
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
After dinner, they said their goodbyes. Sara sent Raye home and headed for the Imperial Plaza.
There Juliet and Yayoi were waiting for her.
“Sorry, I’m late.”
Sara opened the door to the private room and walked in crying her eyes out.
Juliet immediately stood up, hugged Sara’s shoulder and said, “Sara, how dare you stand us up!!!? You will make up for your delay by drinking three glasses of wine.”
He handed Sara the glass in his hand.
Sara looked at the glass and raised her eyebrows in surprise. It was almost full of wine.
“Come on! Don’t overdo it, please.”

Sara smiled and looked at Juliet, then at Yayoi.
“Sara, I’ll drink with you.” Yayoi waved the glass of wine in her hand at Sara, then lifted her head and drank it all down.
Sara frowned slightly and turned to ask Juliet quietly, “What’s happened to Yayoi?”
Yayoi rarely drank alcohol unless she was in a bad mood. That’s why Sara asked like that.
Juliet curved her lips and said, “You know, Maddox’s fiancée stuff.”
“Has he been bothering Yayoi again?”
When Sara was in the Capital, she heard Juliet say that, Maddox’s fiancée gave Yayoi one million yuan, trying to persuade her to leave Maddox, but was rejected by Juliet.
That happened only a few days ago.
Sara thought her fiancée wouldn’t be bothering Yayoi again anytime soon.
“No.”
Juliet shook her head.
“Maddox has been coming home for days and hasn’t accompanied Yayoi, so Yayoi is worried about Maddox getting engaged to her grandfather.”
Oh yeah?
Sara raised her eyebrows slightly and sat down next to Yayoi, stopping her from pouring wine.
Yayoi turned her head and looked at her blankly.
Sara took the wine bottle from her hand and smiled softly, “Yayoi, you must trust Maddox. Now that he has challenged his grandfather’s authority for you, he will not easily compromise with his grandfather.”
A trace of surprise appeared in Yayoi’s eyes.
Then, she turned to look at Juliet and frowned slightly. “Sara, has Juliet told you nonsense?”.
Sara was puzzled, “What, Juliet was talking nonsense?”.
Sara looked at Juliet, who innocently shrugged, “Just guessing.”
Sara rolled her eyes and sighed helplessly, “It makes sense. I know Yayoi always trusts Maddox.”
Juliet stuck her tongue out at them and smiled softly.
“So, why did you drink so much?”. Sara poured wine for Yayoi and asked.
“I’m feeling a little anxious.” Yayoi pursed her lips. “Ever since I met Maddox’s grandfather, I’ve been very anxious. I feel like something bad is going to happen.”
“Maybe you’re too sensitive,” Juliet said.
Yayoi looked at her and shook her head. “No, I’m very uneasy. When I think of Wendy’s wordy words, I worry that I might do something bad to my parents.”
Sara frowned and thought for a while, “Your parents are planning to go to work now?”
Maddox had officially taken over the Young Group as a domestic base to move his overseas business back home.
Yayoi had returned all the shares Maddox had given her. Although Yayoi was no longer the CEO of the Young Group, her parents could return to work here if they wanted to.
“At the moment they have no such plan. They say they haven’t had a good rest from work so far. They want to take this opportunity to have a good rest.”
Sara suggested, “Why don’t you let your parents travel abroad and stay away from the problems here? Let them come back when the matter between you and Maddox is settled.”
Juliet nodded and said, “Good idea.”
“My parents may not agree to travel abroad.” Yayoi knew her parents well. They would not like to go to a country where the people had a completely different language, customs and eating habits.
“Then convince them. If you’re really worried that Wendy might hurt your parents, you have to persuade them.”
Whether or not it happened, it was good to take precautions.
Yayoi thought about it seriously and then nodded, “Well, that’s the only option now.”
Sara smiled and reached out to grab the glass of wine on the table. She said, “Come on. Cheers.”
Then, Yayoi and Juliet raised their glasses and clinked glasses with Sara.
They raised their heads and drank all the wine in their glasses.
As Juliet poured wine, Sara asked, “Why did Maddox come home?”
“Word is that his grandfather has fallen ill.”
Sara was surprised, “What, why don’t I know?”
Leo went to work as usual for the past few days, and never mentioned his grandfather being sick.
Juliet curved her lips, “I don’t know. Payton didn’t mention it to me.”
“That doesn’t make sense.” Sara sensed something was wrong.
“If her grandfather is sick, why haven’t Leo and Payton visited him? Unless…”
“Unless he’s pretending to be sick” Juliet continued, “If he’s pretending to be sick, the purpose must be to get Maddox to commit.”
Sara frowned, “It sounds like Leo and Payton knew. Otherwise, they would have mentioned it.”
Juliet nodded, “Maybe. They probably thought Maddox could work it out on his own, so they let it go.”
Sara nodded.
Juliet was right, but she still wanted to ask Leo after she got home.
Yayoi took a deep breath and said with a smile, “Okay, let’s not talk about this. We’re here to have fun, let’s have a good time.”
Sara raised her eyebrows and smiled, “As long as you’re happy, so are we.”
She raised her glass and said, “Cheers.”
“Let’s forget about it and have fun.” Juliet raised her glass and cried.
Yayoi looked at her two good friends and smiled more contentedly.
Actually, she didn’t trust Maddox as much as Sara thought she did.
However, Yayoi didn’t want them to worry about her. She knew Sara had her own worries as well.
As a friend, Yayoi should not make Sara worry about her.
Therefore, Yayoi tried to appear happy in front of them.
Sara and Juliet, who did not know what Yayoi was thinking about, cheered up after drinking a few glasses of wine. They cheered up and enjoyed themselves.
They partied together late into the night, and they were all drunk.
Leo and Payton had to come and take them home.
