After sending Yayoi and her parents back home, Maddox went straight back to Casa de los Shen.

When he reached the second floor, he happened to see Wendy coming out of Old Master Shen’s room.

He stopped walking, put his hands in his pockets and looked at her silently.

Wendy had been chatting with Old Master Shen for a long time.

She did not leave the room until Old Master Shen got tired and fell asleep.

“Since he’s asleep, I won’t go in,” Maddox said, then stared at Wendy, asking, “Wendy, do you have a minute, shall we talk?”
