Chapter 682:.
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Mrs. Brook took Baby to the Kingston family home to wish Mr. and Mrs. Kingston a happy New Year.
To be honest, Baby didn’t want to stay with the Brook family. She knew the house would be full of chaos when the New Year arrived. Mr. Brook had insisted that she bring Baby to the Kingston’s house, since Baby had lived there for a couple of days before the New Year.
When they arrived, Baby enthusiastically greeted Mr. and Mrs. Kingston, who greeted them warmly and escorted them to Adrian’s room.
“Baby, suddenly I have two little sisters!” Adrian exclaimed happily, looking at Baby with a smile.
“Great! My mom doesn’t have a little sister for me. Why don’t you give me one of your sisters and let me play with your little sister?” Baby looked at Adrian expectantly, waiting for him to offer her a little sister.
“No, I don’t. If you want a little sister, ask your mother to give you one. My two sisters are mine,” Adrian replied firmly, rejecting the idea of giving Baby a sister.
“If you don’t want to give me one, then don’t give her to me. I’ll go home and convince my daddy!” Baby snorted, clearly annoyed and ignoring Adrian.
“But I asked my grandmother. She said I’d have to wait a long time to see my two sisters.” Adrian fiddled with his fingers as he spoke, somewhat troubled by Mrs. Kingston’s words.
“Of course, my mom says the baby can’t be born until after ten months of pregnancy,” Baby said, smiling mischievously as she watched Adrian.
“Well, it doesn’t matter. I’m going to have a baby sister soon anyway!” Adrian responded enthusiastically, happy at the thought of having an extra sister, without refuting Baby’s words.
Suddenly, Adrian’s phone rang. He pulled it out from under his pillow and saw that it was Seventeen. Then he remembered that he hadn’t wished her a happy New Year yet.
“You, Seventeen, Happy New Year!” Adrian lay back on the bed and wished Seventeen well.
Hearing Adrian’s words, Baby also lay back on the bed. He knew he was talking to Seventeen.

“Happy New Year!” Seventeen answered, although he had been busy the night before, so he couldn’t answer Adrian’s call. When he turned on his phone in the morning, he saw the missed call and decided to return it after taking care of some business.
“Uncle Seventeen, both Darling and Aunt Emily are expecting babies. Aunt Emily is the godmother,” Adrian commented, remembering that he had tried to call him the night before.
“Are you happy?” Seventeen asked with a smile in her voice, realizing how excited Adrian was. He didn’t want Adrian to be faking his happiness.
“I’m very happy, I’m going to have a little sister! I’ll be able to play with her when she grows up!” Adrian replied without much thought, clearly excited.
“I’m glad to hear you’re happy,” Seventeen replied, sharing Adrian’s joy.
“Well, Uncle Seventeen, are you happy?” Adrian asked, tapping his phone as if speaking directly to Seventeen.
“Uncle Seventeen, can you help me wish Aunt Alicia a happy New Year?” Adrian remembered Alicia and wondered how she had spent her New Year with Seventeen.
“Yes,” Seventeen replied without mentioning that Alicia had returned, as he was home alone.
After a while, Adrian and Seventeen ended their conversation and hung up the phone.
Baby, who had been watching silently, was now curious as to what Adrian had talked about with Seventeen.
“Adrian, what did you talk to Seventeen about?” Baby asked, intrigued. Adrian had always told her that Seventeen had great physical ability because he had trained Adrian. He had also told her how powerful Seventeen was.
“Nothing.” Adrian shook his head, wanting to keep his relationship with Seventeen a secret. He didn’t want to share it with Baby, as he felt Seventeen should be his alone.
“Humph, then I won’t tell,” Baby said, lying down on the bed as he watched Adrian with a calculating look. He knew that, sooner or later, he would find out who Seventeen was.
“Why were you so sad when I called you yesterday?” Adrian remembered that when he called Baby the day before, his voice had sounded muffled.
“I’m used to that. I have a lot of things to do at home,” Baby replied, shaking her head like an adult, as if she had lived through it all.
“It seems like my family is pretty good. There aren’t that many complications,” Adrian commented, knowing that Baby had his own secrets and, out of respect, he didn’t want to ask any more questions.
“Yes, your family is very good,” Baby replied, looking at Adrian with a small smile. She really liked the situation in Adrian’s family. At least there weren’t so many problems or complicated family members.
“Why didn’t your father come with you?” Adrian asked as he saw that Mrs. Brook was downstairs chatting with Mrs. Kingston. He didn’t understand what they were talking about, so he decided to ask Baby.
“My father is busy at home,” Baby replied, remembering that there were many relatives in her family. Her father must be busy with all the family chaos.
“Yes.” Adrian nodded, understanding.
“Adrian, why don’t I come back with you too?” Baby asked, as if thinking out loud.
“Ask your parents if they agree or not. I don’t care,” Adrian said, not bothering. It seemed that whatever came to Baby’s mind didn’t affect him.
“Yes, I must get them to agree,” Baby said as she looked out the window, lost in thought. No one knew what she was thinking.
“My father, Darling, my uncle and aunt are getting married soon. You can come to that wedding,” Adrian remembered Mrs. Kingston’s words and repeated them with a smile.
Baby nodded, thoughtfully.
