Chapter 688:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Emily took the opportunity to push Ruben away and quickly found a pair of pajamas before opening the door.
“Stella, what’s wrong?” Emily asked, looking at the excited Stella, confused but not daring to open the door fully, as Ruben was not yet dressed.
“Emily, Damien Roy is back!” Stella, not noticing Emily’s light clothing, hugged her happily, sharing the good news.
Hearing Damien’s name, Emily was stunned for a moment. After six years, that name came up again, which surprised her, but she quickly pulled herself together and smiled at the memory.
Ruben, who had also heard the name, frowned. Although he had heard of Damien, he didn’t remember him clearly. He had only met him a couple of times, and now he remembered that he was Emily’s cousin.
“Who’s Damien Roy?” Ruben asked, pulling Emily close and noticing Stella’s happy expression. His face immediately changed as he saw how excited Stella was to hear her name. He thought of RK and wondered if he would be jealous.
“Ah!” Stella, who was hugging Emily, was surprised to see Ruben with his clothes off. She immediately covered her eyes, screaming in shock.
Ruben, realizing the situation, understood what had happened.
Emily, smiling a little awkwardly, looked at Ruben’s stunned expression.
Ruben, somewhat embarrassed, hurried back to his room to get dressed.
“Stella, it’s time for breakfast,” RK said, approaching as he surveyed the scene. Seeing Emily blushing and Stella covering her eyes, he already knew what had happened.
Emily tried to hide her embarrassment, but as Stella was still hugging her, she couldn’t break away.
“Okay, I’m coming,” Stella said as she dropped her hands from her eyes, jumping toward Emily.
After a while, Adrian came out of his room and saw everyone gathered together, though he didn’t understand what they were talking about. He decided to go to the restaurant.

“Uncle Seventeen,” Adrian greeted cheerfully as he saw Seventeen eating breakfast.
Seventeen nodded and, with a smile, set a glass of milk in front of Adrian.
Stella, following him to RK, had a smile she couldn’t hide.
“Honey, why are you so happy this morning?” Adrian asked, watching Stella.
“Because I’m very happy. By the way, little Rian, if you have time, could you call your uncle Tristan?” Stella asked him. Although she didn’t quite know what to say to Tristan, she thought that since Tristan really liked Adrian, he should be the one to call him first.
“Okay,” Adrian nodded, though in the back of his mind he remembered that he had always been in touch with Tristan, but never mentioned it to Stella for fear that RK would get jealous.
While he didn’t like all the women around Tristan, he did like him a lot. He knew Tristan had a girlfriend, and had spoken to her several times. Adrian felt sympathy for him.
“Who is Damien Roy?” Ruben asked as he grabbed Emily’s hand to stop her before she could change and go downstairs. He wanted to understand why Emily was so happy to hear that name.
“You don’t know who Damien is?” Emily asked, surprised. She figured that if RK knew him, Ruben should know who he was, too.
“Should I know him?” Ruben looked at her, puzzled. He didn’t understand why she didn’t recognize him.
“Oh, then, when he comes, you can ask him yourself,” Emily said, pushing Ruben’s hand away and starting to change.
“Tell me.” Ruben held Emily’s hand, determined to get her to answer before he let her get dressed.
“Go ask RK. He knows,” Emily replied, unable to help but smile. However, she didn’t want Ruben to ask any more questions, knowing that he would probably get tangled up in them.
When Ruben heard RK’s name, he let go of Emily’s hand and began to dress quickly.
Ruben, taking Emily’s hand, led her straight to the restaurant.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Emily winked at Stella, who smiled back, understanding what he meant. Then, she sat down and began eating in earnest.
“Rene, who is Damien Roy?” Ruben asked RK directly, wanting to get a clear answer.
Hearing the question, RK looked at Emily, knowing she didn’t want to talk about it anymore.
“You’ll know when he comes,” RK said, but his tone made it clear that he didn’t like Ruben’s attitude. It was clear that he didn’t even remember who Damien was, which frustrated him.
Adrian, seeing the tense atmosphere, decided not to ask any more questions. He knew it was better to wait for everything to clear up on its own.
“You…” Ruben pointed at RK, but couldn’t find the words and, frustrated, sat down to breakfast.
Emily smiled discreetly as she took a sip of milk, watching the situation unfold.
Seventeen, as if she wasn’t there, continued to eat while glancing at Adrian from time to time.
“Rene, why don’t we invite Tristan to our wedding?” Stella, thinking of Tristan, looked at RK and suggested with a smile.
RK nodded, seeing no problem with that. As long as Stella was happy, he would be happy too.
