Chapter 113:.
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“Huh?” John frowned, “What’s so pitiful about it?”.
“Mr. Rowland, no one can stand your strange temper,” Dan said as he pouted, not afraid to state the facts.
But then he quickly mended his ways when he saw that John was getting angry, “See? He doesn’t take criticism from anyone, my teacher told me that a good boy should admit his mistakes and learn from them!”
“What? How dare you treat me like a child?”
“Mr. Rowland, you still haven’t told me if you’ve changed your mind,” Dan got off the couch and walked over to John.
He stood in front of him.
John stared him straight in Dan’s eyes, who was a little startled, “Why are you standing so close to me, aren’t you worried I’ll get angry?”
“I don’t have a big temper either! If you want to get angry over nothing, I’ll gladly wait for you to calm down, I promise. But listen to what I have to say next, how about it?” Dan was trying to discuss the subject with John, he wasn’t afraid of him.
John couldn’t get angry anymore, not after hearing what Dan said.
Mrs. Howe and the other servants were shocked. They stared at the boy standing next to Mr. Rowland. It had been a long time since they had seen someone so close to their Lord Rowland.
This boy was really brave, even braver than Sammy.
“Mr. Rowland, don’t lie to me!” said Dan as he smiled brightly. “You’re going to let my mother marry the other Mr. Rowland, aren’t you?”.
John was taken aback and gaped.
Was this child really only five years old?
“I didn’t say I was going to let them marry each other.”
“But Mr. Rowland, you were taking a look at the wedding suit when we passed the wedding tent just now. Why are you looking at the suit, if you’re not going to let Mr. Rowland get married? Besides, if you weren’t, why did you call me here? And also, your nose will get longer if you lie that much, Mr. Rowland! That’s what my mother’s boss told me today.”
Dan was patiently explaining to John, “Mr. Rowland, so you’re going to let my mother marry Mr. Rowland, are you?”
John grimaced, “Was I that obvious?”.
“Yes, it was!” replied Dan as he smiled brightly.
At this point, the boy seemed like a sly little fox to John. He was probably right up there with sly old fox Cohen.

“Your mom must be happy that I finally recognize her – you’re coming to stay here with her!”
“Mr. Rowland, I don’t think my mom has seen the other Mr. Rowland for a long time, don’t you think that’s weird?”
“Really?” John frowned.
“You didn’t even notice that? You’re not very observant, Mr. Rowland! I’m going to tell Sammy upstairs, he’ll be elated with the news!” Dan wanted to share this good news with Sammy, but at the same time he was a little worried. “Mr. Rowland, you won’t intimidate my mother, will you?” Dan turned around halfway up the stairs.
“With a son like you, I wouldn’t dare,” John replied as he stood up.
He felt a little embarrassed, was he really afraid of Dan…?
Dan was having fun with Sammy in Sammy’s room.
“Danny, are Mom and Dad really getting married, does Mr. Rowland agree?”
Sammy couldn’t believe his ears, but he didn’t want to end up disappointed.
“Actually, he agreed. I don’t know why, though.”
“I thought Mom didn’t want me anymore!” said Sammy dejectedly. “Mr. Rowland wouldn’t let me see her. Dan, is Mom okay?”
“No!” said Dan.
“Have you seen your father?”
“No, I haven’t seen him in a while!”
“Why?” Dan was puzzled. His mother hadn’t been very happy lately.
Celia sighed every time she saw her mother. She really didn’t know what had happened. but something had to be going on between her mother and Mr. Rowland!
“Sammy, it’s no good!” cried Dan suddenly.
“Huh? What?” Sammy didn’t understand.
At the MH Residence.
Darcy sat on the couch and stared at Liam, who was sitting across from her.
“Hey, what are you looking at?” Liam felt an uncomfortable shiver run down his spine. “Liam, you’ve been hiding from me for a long time!” Darcy narrowed her pretty eyes.
Then she smiled, “Are you afraid of me?”
Liam frowned and swallowed, “Why should I be? We’re friends. No one’s afraid of their friends.”
“You’re afraid to be alone with me!” laughed Darcy.
He stood up and put a cold expression on his perfect looking face. Then she turned to Liam.
“Hey, what are you doing?” Liam was afraid of her.
Darcy was cold to everyone but him. He was hiding from her because he had no choice. “I’m going to check on Lucille to see if she’s asleep!” Liam stood up abruptly as she approached him.
Darcy grabbed his tie and Liam couldn’t move anymore.
“Hey, Darcy, you’re going to choke me! Don’t be so violent.”
Darcy then pushed Liam down.
He sat down on the couch and his eyes widened, “Darcy, what are you doing?” Darcy took two steps forward and sat on his thighs.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and said while maintaining a cool expression, “Liam, I wouldn’t be interested in you if you weren’t hiding from me. You caught my interest because you keep running away from me.”
“Darcy, don’t be like that!” Liam laughed, “Let go of me!” But Darcy moved even closer and then pressed her red lips to his face.
“Ah, Darcy!” cried Liam.
Darcy had a playful face, but at the same time she was staring at Liam. She released him after a kiss and stared at the smudge of lipstick on his face with satisfaction.
She narrowed her eyes and said, “William’s off to see another woman, isn’t he?”
“How can that be, I made him go home to rest! He’d been taking care of Lucy for a long time and he needed rest.”
Liam felt uncomfortable and tried to push her away. He shouldn’t have let Will go if he knew being alone with Darcy would be so scary. He even came close to losing his chastity! But luckily, she had a trump card.
The doorbell rang just in time.
Darcy frowned, she didn’t know who was coming!
Liam quickly got up and said, “I’ll get the door!”.
Someone shouted cheerfully as the door opened, “Brother!”.
Cute little Sara appeared in front of the door. However, her bright eyes dimmed when she saw the kiss mark on Liam’s face.
“Who is it?” Darcy walked over and saw that it was Sara.
She laughed, turned and walked away without a word. Then she walked into the other room.
“Sara, why are you late?” complained Liam.
Liam didn’t know he had a kiss mark on his face. Sara glanced at the kiss mark with a strange expression on her face. Then she walked into the house, dejected.
Even though she was like this, her eyes were still bright and lively. She pouted and looked at the room Darcy was entering. She looked hard in that direction as if she wanted to tear Darcy to pieces.
“Sara, what’s wrong?” Liam smiled brightly.
He still hadn’t noticed the kiss mark on her face.
“Brother, come on!” Sara looked at Liam. She tugged his hand and headed towards the bathroom with him.
They walked into the bathroom and she pointed to his face, “Brother, look!”
“What?” Liam frowned and glanced at the mirror.
He saw his reflection and his face flushed.
“Hey, this is Darcy’s, she did it on her own!” She quickly turned on the faucet and washed the smear of lipstick on her face.
She cleaned it thoroughly, even using a little soap.
Sara stared at Liam and her melancholy disappeared. She felt calmer knowing that Liam didn’t like Darcy.
She felt much better.
Liam washed the soap off his face. Sara smiled and looked at him happily.
Liam’s face turned redder at the sight of her smile, he tried to explain himself, “Darcy was only joking.”
“Brother!” Sara interrupted him. She smiled and said, “Don’t worry bro, I know she was the one seducing you, she had been after you for a long time!”
“Huh?” Liam gently tousled Sara’s hair and sighed, “You know everything! Hush, don’t make so much noise. Don’t let her hear you.”
“Of course, I know. Those women always bother you, and she’s one of them. Brother, you really don’t like her?” She acted her typical dutiful girlish self, but she was smiling brightly.
Liam would have fallen in love with Darcy a long time ago if he really liked her. But he called Sara and asked her to accompany him.
Obviously, it was because Liam didn’t want to be alone with Darcy.
“Good girl.” Liam ruffled her hair and looked at her fondly, enjoying her cheerful expression. “Okay, let’s go out!”
“Liam!” shouted Sara suddenly.
“What?” Sara stood on her tiptoes and quickly pressed a kiss to Liam’s face.
She pressed her lips to the spot where Darcy had left the lipstick stain a moment ago.
She kissed his cheek hard, as if she wanted to overwrite Darcy’s kiss. Her soft lips made Liam feel as if he had been electrocuted, he was stunned, “You…”
It felt good, but it was his brother! What was this feeling?
“Liam, I’m 23 now,” Sara reminded Liam as she looked at his shocked expression.
She was no longer the 17 year old she was then.
“You’re my sister,” Liam muttered.
“We’re not blood relatives!” said Sara softly. She reached out and pulled Liam close to her. Then she aggressively bit his thin lips.
Only after that, she said happily, “I like you and I don’t care. I’ve liked you from before. It’s okay if you don’t like me back as long as you keep letting me like you.”
“Silly,” Liam said as he looked at Sara’s pleased face.
He touched her lips and it hurt a little. He had bitten down too hard. However, he felt his heart skip a beat….
“Brother, it’s a little swollen.” Sarah felt a flash as she looked at Liam’s slightly swollen lips.
She no longer had to be afraid of people looking at his handsome face, especially Darcy, who was in the other room! Liam licked his lips.
What had just happened was blissful and nostalgic at the same time. It was as if something similar had happened earlier in the night…. That sweet feeling…
Liam stared at Sara and felt puzzled, he thought hard trying to piece together his memories, “Sara, you…”
He wanted to ask her if she had kissed him before, but the question didn’t seem appropriate. He shouldn’t say anything.
But what was that familiar feeling? So familiar that it tugged at his heartstrings.
“Do you like my kisses?” said Sara as she smiled hauntingly at Liam. “Brother?”
Although, her heart began to beat faster.
She fought hard for him at home and finally got up the courage to kiss him.
She wanted to have Liam for herself, otherwise, she would regret it for the rest of her life.
She moved closer, lifted her head and looked at him.
Their eyes met and Liam was surprised to see her expression in the reflection of her eyes.
