Chapter 127:.
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Sherry couldn’t help but ask, “Keegan, what’s going on with the president?”
“It’s, it’s nothing!” Keegan denied.
At that moment, Cohen Sutton’s office door opened. He stepped out and smiled warmly at the sight of Sherry.
“You should leave early, Sherry. You don’t look well. Keegan, why don’t you send Sherry out later and come to my house later.”
“Okay!” After saying that, Cohen gave Sherry a long look before striding off.

Sherry was confused – what was going on here?
Ding dong…
Her phone rang.
When she saw it was William, she didn’t pick it up but said to Keegan, “Someone’s coming to get me, you don’t need to send me back!”
“Oh!” Keegan nodded. “I’ll walk you downstairs then!”
It was time to leave work, people began to leave the office.
A sapphire blue Bugatti was heading their way as Sherry and Keegan exited the tower.
William was looking for Sherry, not expecting to see her leaving the tower with a well-endowed man. They seemed to be having a good time chatting.
Suddenly, Sherry slipped.
William’s heart immediately skipped a beat. Fortunately, the man caught her in time. But then Sherry fell into the man’s embrace with his hand on her waist. As she fell into another man’s embrace, William felt a boiling rage.
Damn it, he couldn’t let her work here anymore. Some pervert was taking advantage of her. William pulled the handbrake, pulled out the keys and stormed out of the car.
“Watch out!” Keegan held Sherry by the back, and found that her heart was trembling.
This tremor came out of nowhere, but it felt so real. Along with the shaking, he felt something stir in his body with a strange sensation.
“Thank you, Keegan!” Sherry was taken aback. It was lucky she didn’t fall or the consequence could be unbearable. She put her hand to her belly and thanked Keegan again for saving her, “Thank you!”
“I’ll ask the janitor to do the cleaning after work from now on. The floor usually freezes during the winter. You should be more careful,” Keegan reminded her as she blushed.
Normally he wasn’t interested in women, but he was blushing at Sherry’s scent wafting into his nasal cavity as he held her in his arms just now!
William was advancing toward them. The crowd leaving work was in awe looking at this sharp-featured man walking by in a suit.
“Oh, how handsome!”
“How handsome!” The ladies were amazed.
The awe caught Sherry’s attention. She turned and saw William, who had approached a spot only five yards away from them.
He raised his eyebrows and said in a charming voice, “Let’s go home, my wife.”
Wife? Sherry was so startled that she lost her balance. Keegan tried to hold her again.
William rushed forward, put his hand on Sherry’s slender waist and took her in his arms. He smiled coldly at Keegan, his eyes shooting daggers, “Thank you, Mr. Fox. Let’s go home now, my wife.”
That said, he picked Sherry up and carried her to the Bugatti in front of everyone present. Everyone was shocked…
At the corner of Keegan’s mouth, a hint of jealousy could be seen…..
Sherry got into the car, didn’t come to even when the car started and drove away. She only came to and blushed as she stopped by the roadside after driving three hundred yards away from the Cohen Group.
How could he call her that? They weren’t even married. And he was the one who said they weren’t going to get married. William started to take off his clothes after stopping the car.
Sherry was surprised and grabbed at his coat, not letting him unbutton his clothes.
“What are you doing, William?” he didn’t answer, but brutally pulled her coat off and threw her into the back seat.
Then he took off his suit and put it on her. She looked weird in the oversized suit.
After all that, Sherry looked at him, “Are you crazy?”.
William was still silent. He turned to give her a look as he frowned.
“William?” she was beginning to feel uncomfortable with his stare.
Suddenly, he reached out and pulled her into his arms. In his tight embrace, Sherry felt something was out of her usual domineering embrace.
She felt suffocated.
She felt it not because she couldn’t breathe, but because of the look on his face just now. It was the complicated look of a child whose toy has been taken away. There was a mixed feeling of complaint, struggle and tyranny in it.
Sherry stopped resisting and fighting even though she still had no idea what to make of this.
“What is it, William?”
“He’s hugged you!” she whispered in his ear with indignation.
“Uh! He didn’t!” Sherry understood that this was about the scene from earlier. “Relax and listen to me. The floor was slippery, so Keegan backed me up! It’s not a hug!” I was using the wrong phrase.
“He hugged you, I saw he hugged you!” he felt more aggrieved when he thought about the fact that his father told him he saw Keegan carry Sherry to a car with Sherry in his arms.
His voice trailed off, and he planted his face in her neck, inhaling her scent. He hugged her tightly in the cramped space. He’d let any other guy touch his wife!
“William!” Sherry had already blushed at the sight of him. Now she was blushing even more.
Was he…jealous? The corner of her lips curled up. Was that something to be proud of? There was silence in the car.
William’s breathing was the only sound lingering in her ears.
“Quit your job, Sherry. I don’t want you to work anymore. Stay home and take care of the kids. I’ll provide for our family.” He was still holding her.
“Uh!” Sherry was speechless and felt helpless at his stubbornness. “All right, let’s go find Sammy – he must be waiting for us!”
“Oh! Sure!” only then did William let go of her and order the suit.
Satisfaction filled his heart as he felt that Sherry in her suit was the cutest thing ever.
Leaning back on the seat, she took in the vague tobacco smell of the oversized suit.
It was an unmistakable tobacco smell of William’s, she liked it. Stroking her belly, William murmured to himself, “Daddy’s on our side, honey! I hope he stays on our side this time and doesn’t leave me like when you were pregnant with Dan’s brother! That was lonely! We’re going to stay strong together.”
It could really be a daughter, she thought. He remembered William kept talking about wanting a daughter when they were in Hokkaido.
She hoped she could give him one this time. But there was a feeling of melancholy in her heart. He wondered if his happiness could be achieved so easily.
Could Lucille recover? All he could do now was pray that she would recover soon.
William’s phone rang just as he was about to start the car. He frowned when he saw that it was a call from home. Sherry’s heart pounded and she lowered her head. Her heart then began to thud.
Was it Lucille?
“Hi, Dad!” William answered the call. Sherry sighed in relief-it wasn’t Lucille! “You have Sammy? Okay, I got her!” William hung up the phone and then pulled out the battery.
He suddenly gave Sherry a fishy look.
“Dad picked up Sammy. We don’t have to go anymore.”
Sherry snapped. “He said he’ll let Sammy stay with me for a month!”
“He said you can go get him tomorrow. Tonight it’ll be just the two of us.” William blinked, “I’m yours. I’ve turned off my phone. Turn yours off too.”
“I can’t, William. What if something comes up?” Sherry was speechless as she felt moved to take the battery out of her phone.
“Nothing can stop us tonight. Dan’s staying at school, he’ll be fine. And Sammy’s at home. I’m by your side, where’s your phone?” She rummaged through her purse, found her phone and removed the battery. Only then was he relieved, “Where are we going, my wife?”
“Who’s your wife?” Sherry lowered her head in embarrassment. “You! You’re my wife. I’m going to call you that from now on. Dad already approved our marriage,” she said.
“Why should I marry you?” she turned her head to the side, her heartbeat quickening. “Don’t you want to? I’ll change your mind tonight! Wait and see, I’ll make you beg me!” he said implicitly.
Sherry blushed even more. She hid in her suit to avoid his gaze. He chided softly, “All right, let’s go now!”.
“Sure. Looks like my wife can’t wait for what’s coming tonight!” William smiled warmly.
“William!” growled Sherry with her embarrassment almost turning to anger.
“Yes, my wife?” looking at Sherry who was cuddling in embarrassment, William couldn’t help but laugh, “Hahaha, my wife is embarrassed…”
“I’m not your wife!” Sherry cringed. She wrapped her coat tightly around her, hiding her face that was bursting with embarrassment.
“You are! You are my wife!” William continued to taunt her. Hearing him call her wife in such a seductive voice, her heart couldn’t help but beat faster. “Wife of mine, you’re going to choke like this! Come out right now!” said William in a loving tone, “Come out right now!”
William, you idiot! Sherry felt like digging a hole to hide in.
“All right, I’m serious! Come out right now!” She was worried she was going to get sick at this rate. Pushing the suit aside, he saw her face which was as red as an apple.
He curved his lips and said to her with an extremely affectionate look, “What do you want to eat? I’ll take you there.”
“Screw you, I’m already full of all this fuss!” said Sherry sulkily.
“Does my wife mean we should just go straight home and do it?” He raised his eyebrows, completely unhinged.
“William!” What the hell was wrong with this guy, he kept thinking about such things!
“I’m here!” William replied excitedly, “Just tell me what you want, my wife! I’m going to satisfy your every need!”
“William, I don’t want to talk to you anymore if you keep acting like this!” He put on a serious face. She didn’t like him.
Although she was happy when he talked like that, but she knew there were still things to deal with in their relationship. Did he used to call Lucille that way too?
Suddenly, he put on a stern expression. He still worried about it, even though it was a thing of the past now.
After all, who wouldn’t?
