Chapter 133:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Due to embarrassment, Sherry Murray’s face turned red. Her light lips were upturned as if in silent seduction.
When she struggled, William Rowland lost control, leaned in and kissed on her lips, capturing her lips and sucking on them, not caring that it was a public place. By the time he released her, her lips were red and swollen.
“William, you bastard!” Sherry looked around as she reacted.
Reggie, for his part, was smiling unpredictably. But he had no intention of leaving, watching if he expected to see them kissing any longer.
William frowned, why hadn’t he left yet? William wrapped his arms around Sherry, turned around, walked to the car and pulled her inside. He nodded to Reggie and got ready to leave.

“Wait!” said Reggie suddenly.
William looked sideways, his gaze was cold and his voice was more than impatient, “What else do you want?”
Reggie looked at William, but looked at Sherry in the car and said, “Don’t forget what I told you. If no one wants you, come to me anytime, I’m very determined.”
As she was about to struggle, she heard that his words were deliberate so that William would understand. When she turned her head dumbly, she discovered that outside the car Reggie was winking at her.
She gasped, This man is evil too! He’s doing it on purpose!
William snorted coldly, “So you’re really hitting on my wife. Forget it, you won’t stand a chance.” He slammed the car door shut. Just then, his phone rang, “What, Jesse, is Lucille Mclean sick again? Okay, I’ll be right there!”
Sherry wanted to open the car door and get out but was stopped by William. Now he was worried about her being here as Keegan and another half-breed showed up.
She had to ask Liam Brooks to look into this man’s identity. Damn, how come they were all around her? And they were all so handsome.
She had to roll down the car window, “William, I have to go to work!”
“Lucille is sick again. You’re coming with me.” William glanced back at Reggie, who froze in place, his lunch box suddenly dropped to the floor.
William went around to the driver’s side and climbed in to drive. Sherry stopped struggling and her tone was tinged with concern.
“How come Lucille is sick again, isn’t she much better by now?”
“Yes! She’s not in great condition!” William nodded, and there was no time to say anything. “Sherry, come with me, don’t go to work!” With that, he started the car.
They both hadn’t noticed that Reggie’s expression was a little stiff.
When he heard William’s call, his expression was unusually complicated. His hand clenched into a fist and he scattered the soup on the floor.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Kelly! And thank you!” Sherry only had time to say this one sentence.
Suddenly, she saw that his expression seemed slightly different, but the car had already started. She had just been driven to the MH Residence by William. And as soon as she opened the door, she heard Lucille screaming, “Don’t hit me, don’t hit me, don’t burn me.”
Both the special nurse and Jesse stepped back. A trembling figure was curled up on the couch.
It had been a month or so since Sherry had last seen Lucille. His face seemed to have changed a little, but he was still haggard and frightened. Her shaky appearance made people sigh.
As soon as William walked in, he asked, “What’s the matter, isn’t she better?”
“It was like a nightmare. She seemed to be coming up with something and started screaming. I had no choice but to bring her back.” The special nurse was a woman in her thirties. “Her consciousness is partially returning now. See? She doesn’t seem to be calling you by name anymore.” said Jesse to William in English.
“What’s the situation here?” William frowned.
For some reason, seeing Lucille again, seeing her curled up on the couch, seemingly gnawing her nails, constantly screaming, Sherry’s heart sank more than usual and thinking about the pictures she had just seen, her heart sank even more. She felt sorry for Lucille, once so beautiful.
Glancing sideways at William, who was filled with worry, Sherry sighed and gently made her way to the couch. Lucille got the power as soon as she approached.
Sherry said in a soft, gentle voice, “Miss Mclean, don’t be afraid. No one can harm you. William will protect you.”
Before she finished her words, Lucille stopped cowering. She frowned, thoughtfully, as if in deep thought. Then, after a long time, she stopped screaming.
Everyone was surprised. At that moment, she raised her head, looked at Sherry, and suddenly said in a low, almost inaudible voice, “I recognize you!”
With a hum, everyone was startled as if struck by lightning.
William was stunned, and Sherry even more surprised.
Half a day later, they heard Lucille coyly say, “You’re Will’s friend!”
Sherry froze and looked back at William, only to find that several of them were frozen.
Had Lucille really recovered?
Sherry turned and smiled at him, “Yes, I know William. Miss Mclean, you have a good memory!”.
At the compliment, she smiled and sat down on the couch. Although her posture was still curled up, she had calmed down a lot.
“Where’s Will?” Lucille suddenly asked, “He didn’t come with you?”
Sherry froze and turned around, wasn’t that William?
Lucille followed her line of sight, still repeating the phrase, “Didn’t Will come?”
She looked like she was a little disappointed.
Looking at William, Jesse and the special nurse behind Sherry, she still asked, “Didn’t he promise to be with me every day?”
“She doesn’t seem to recognize you!” Jesse said to William. He had a complicated look on his face and frowned. “But he seems to be better. I can see she’s much better and calmer now. In fact, she remembers Sherry! But she doesn’t recognize you. You’re here. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, I’ll have to keep watching!”.
Then he turned his attention back to Sherry and Lucille.
“Ask Sherry to help her remember. The fact that she hasn’t rejected it means she’s touched something in her conscience.”
“Help Lucille remember?” William was stunned, “Remember about what?”
“Some of the old days – maybe we should find an entry point, and maybe she can regain her full consciousness!”
“No, that’s too cruel!” William shook his head. “Sherry doesn’t even know anything. She and Lucille have only met once. I don’t understand why Lucille would remember her.”
When Sherry overheard their conversation, she turned her head back and hesitated a little.
“Where’s Will?” Lucille asked, still puzzled, her expression shy, and then she lowered her head again.
“Lucille, it’s William, don’t you recognize me?” William asked as he stepped forward.
Lucille shuddered, “Don’t come closer, don’t come closer, don’t burn me.”
“Don’t come closer!” Sherry was also stunned. Lucille really didn’t recognize him.
“Miss Mclean, look up, it really is William!”
“That’s nonsense. It’s not!” said Lucille quietly, “Will’s not like that! His eyes are blue!”
“What?”
Everyone froze, how was that possible? Sherry looked at Jesse again and realized that his eyes were blue too, so she pointed at Jesse and said, “Look, it’s not William, his eyes are blue too!”
Lucille lifted her gaze, glanced at Jesse, and lowered her head again, pouting. “No, Will’s hair is black, he’s got yellow hair!”
“Ah!”
What was going on here, would someone please tell Sherry, she was puzzled!
“Jesse, do you know what’s going on here?” William didn’t understand either.
“Maybe he thought of you as an imaginary person, or maybe there’s another William with blue eyes and black hair in his subconscious.”
As Jesse said this, Sherry’s mind wandered to someone’s face, Reggie! Reggie was the one with the blue eyes and black hair. But it was only a flash, and she immediately asked, “Miss Mclean, do you know my name?”.
Lucille pouted again, like a little girl, and said, “I’m sorry, I forgot!”
“That’s all right. I’ll tell you, my name is Sherry. Can you remember it?” asked Sherry again.
“Sherry, Sherry…” Lucille repeated, and after repeating it several times, she suddenly smiled. “I remember. I recognize you! Your name is Sherry! Can you help me get Will? I have something to tell him.”
“What can I do now?” Sherry froze, “Doctor, is there any way?”
Jesse was deep in thought, “She really imagines you as someone else, or maybe she has another William in her head!”
Hearing that, William didn’t know what to say, “She doesn’t recognize me?”
When Sherry heard his high-pitched, incredulous tone, her heart followed with inexplicable bitterness. She thought William was nervous because Lucille no longer remembered him, he must also be lost in his heart.
“Help me get Will here for me, okay?” he said again to Sherry.
“Okay!” Sherry nodded, “Okay, I’ll get him!”.
She turned around, saw the stunning look on William’s face, and felt a little sad. Then she made sure he was too surprised.
“Last time we brought him your photos to show him, he always smiled when he saw them. By the way, where’s the album?” asked Jesse to the special nurse.
“Miss Darcy Mclean took it!” replied the special nurse.
Sherry grabbed her purse.
“The album?” asked William to Jesse. “The pictures of Lucille and me?”
“Yes, we wanted to use some old stuff to stimulate the nerves in her brain to bring back some memories. She was smiling happily as she spun those pictures around,” Jesse explained.
“Oh, the old photos are helpful to her?” Since William was in a bit of a hurry, he didn’t think much of it and went to the study room to pull out a cardboard box.
“Here are some photos, let’s see if this works!” Sherry was suddenly stunned.
She had actually saved the old photos, and it was a full box. As soon as the cardboard box was opened, she saw that inside was a plastic bag, delicately wrapped, as if to insulate the dust.
You could tell how attentive the person who wrapped this box was.
