Chapter 167:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
William pointed in the direction there, and Sherry peeked in as well. Dan’s face was cold, he looked impatient, and he was frowning. There was a girl next to him holding his hands, apparently saying something.
“What’s wrong?”
“Dan is picking up girls at such a young age!” exclaimed William, “And there are so many! This boy is so scruffy, picking up girls in bulk!”
“William, what are you talking about?” cried Sherry, I’ve never seen such nonsense! “They’re all boys!”
“Look, those girls really like it. I was around a lot of girls myself when I was a kid. Look at that one, still holding Dan by the hand. They all look older than Dan! Do you know how to have cradle love at such a young age?”
“William, shut up!” the more he talked, the more outrageous he became.
“Dan! Good boy, come here!” William saw that Dan was still lethargic behind him, although William was impatient, he couldn’t get rid of the girls, so he shouted.
Dan heard William’s voice. When he raised his head, he saw William and Mom. His face suddenly filled with excitement, but he thought of something and looked down again. His face was cold again.
…
“Why, Daniel, is that your daddy and mommy?” a random girl shouted.
“Daniel, your daddy is so handsome! You’ll be as handsome as your daddy when you grow up. I want to marry you!” Shouted the girl who had been tugging on Daniel’s arm, she was about the same height as Dan, and didn’t seem to be very big, and looked to be one cut away from being a first grader.
“I don’t want to marry you!” Dan frowned coldly. “Let go of me!”
“Don’t! I want to marry you! Daniel, I like you!” The girl still refused to let go of Dan.
“Why don’t I marry your daddy? Your daddy’s handsome too.”
Dan struggled to free himself from the girl. “I don’t like you. You’re a nymphomaniac.”
“Daniel, your daddy is very handsome, like a big star. Your eyes look like your daddy’s too!”
“Yes, the rest of you looks like your mommy. Your mommy is very pretty.”
At first, Dan didn’t like William, but when everyone said William was his daddy, it showed the pride hidden inside him, and he didn’t deny it.
“I like you!” The girl who had just separated clung again.

“Let go of me!” Daniel shoved her violently, “I hate you!”.
“What the…?” the girl suddenly screamed.
Sherry and William gaped, “William, do you think Dan doesn’t like girls? Look at his expression like he hates girls, do you think he could be g3y?”
“What are you thinking?” William smacked him upside the head. “That’s great, that he doesn’t like girls! I was like that when I was a kid.”
William looked as if Dan were his own son, and his proud look made Sherry sigh.
“But Dan isn’t your son. It’s not logical for you to say that, is it?” Sherry shook her head. She ran to help the girl up when she heard her cry again.
“Good girl, don’t cry!” Sherry helped her pat the dust, and only then did she realize that the little girl was so cute and cuddly.
“Mom, don’t help her!” said Dan coldly from the side.
“How can you be so ungentlemanly? She’s a girl, how can you make a move on a girl?” William walked over and squatted down to ask Dan.
“What are you doing here?” asked Dan casually.
“Boy, there’s no need to be so fierce when we just met, is there?” William looked at Dan with some astonishment. “No need to hold that kind of grudge, right?”
“Dan, apologize quickly!” said Sherry.
“Mom, no! I’m not wrong! I don’t want to marry her, she wants to marry me, AND she wants to marry him too!” Dan pointed at William.
“Whew! What?”
“Yes! I want to marry Daniel, and I also want to marry Daniel’s dad!” The girl stood up and rubbed her eyes, “Miss, you don’t have to help me, we can be rivals in love too!”
Sherry was shocked. The world was in a tangle.
At that moment, the girl turned to William and said, “Sir, let Daniel marry me, I want to be Daniel’s bride, OR I will marry you!”
William also froze, giving a glance at the girl who still had snot on her face. They were five or six years old, he couldn’t help but keep silent.
“Nymphomaniac!” Dan spat out that word coolly and grabbed Sherry’s hand, “Mom, we’re going home!”
If Sherry hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, she wouldn’t have believed there was such a young nymphomaniac, and she wouldn’t have thought there was such a young girl telling herself she was a rival to love. Perhaps she was too surprised, so Sherry could only let her son pull her toward the car.
Dan saw that William was still frozen there, so he said coldly, “If you don’t leave now, you can marry that nymphomaniac, Don’t try to marry my mommy!”.
“Ugh! Wait for me!” William came to his senses and said to the girl, “Sorry, I don’t like girls like you, you don’t study well and you think about marrying someone all the time, who did you learn that from?”
“On TV! You are really stupid.” When the girl saw that Dan was going to leave, she chased after him again and grabbed his hand. “Daniel, don’t go!”
“Mom, I want to change schools!” Dan shrugged at the little nymphomaniac.
Sherry gasped as William reached over and pulled Dan away from the little nymphomaniac’s grasp, “Little girl, this son of mine doesn’t like you, but I have another son, that one I’ll bring you tomorrow! Maybe that one will marry you!”
“Really?” The little nymphomaniac was distracted.
“Of course I do! You just wait! I’ll have my other son come tomorrow!” William led Dan to the car and finally got out of it.
On the way back, Sherry asked William, “Do you really plan to have Sammy come tomorrow, too?”
“No!” William shook his head. “I’m going to let Dan transfer to another school! There’s no need to give another son. You, Dan, don’t you want to transfer to another school?”
Dan was a little surprised and nodded, “Mr. Rowland, I want to transfer to a school where there are no female students! Is that okay?”
“Of course!” William answered Dan, without thinking, but suddenly froze.
He thought of Sherry saying that Dan was g3y. He looked at Dan, who was frowning in the back seat, and asked, “Dan doesn’t like girls at all?”
Dan pursed his lips and seemed to have been very quiet during that time, only after a long while did he say, “It’s because they’re annoying and give me a hard time every day. I want to go to a school where there are no female classmates.”
“Dan, what does it mean that a lot of female classmates bother you?” Sherry didn’t understand at all. “But going to a school with all male classmates is not good for your physical and mental health!”
“Mom, I don’t want to stay here, I’m upset!”
“What’s bothering you?”
“I’m sick of girls!”
“They bother you because they like you!” Sherry turned her head toward Dan in the back seat.
“I don’t want them to like me!” Dan got a little embarrassed, as if he wanted to say something, and swallowed.
“What’s the matter, son?”
“They, they all want to steal my first kiss…” Dan expounded some shocking news.
The car slammed on the brakes, and luckily they were all wearing seat belts. Otherwise they would have been thrown out. Dan looked at William and said, “It’s true!”
“How is that possible?” William froze. Suddenly, he thought back to his childhood, when he had encountered the same thing. “Did everyone say they wanted to marry you and kiss your face when you weren’t looking?”
“How did you know?” Dan was stunned. “Because it happened to me when I was your age! Well, we’ll change schools and make sure you go to a school without nymphomaniacs like that.” William gritted his teeth.
He wasn’t to let Dan repeat the same mistake he had made then.
Sherry gave him a tug, worried that Dan didn’t like girls. What if he was g3y then?
“No, Sherry, put your worries aside. It’s just that he has a temper like mine. I didn’t like girls when I was a kid either.”
“Did the same thing happen to Mr. Rowland?”
“Of course!”
“And had you been kissed?” asked Dan again.
William looked at Sherry and shook his head, “No, absolutely not!”.
“You lied, didn’t you?” Sherry looked at him. Her eyes were fierce.
…
At Rowland Manor, Sherry met Old Master Rowland shortly after a month after the miscarriage.
William brought the two children to Rowland Manor, and Old Master Rowland had already asked Mrs. Howe to prepare a delicious dinner. Seeing Sherry, John’s face was serious and he did not speak.
“Mr. Rowland, how are you?” Sherry was a bit formal.
It was sort of the first official visit. The previous ones didn’t count because those encounters seemed to be at the point of a sword. Although John seemed to care about her later at the hospital, she didn’t talk to John much because she was too sad.
“Good! Are you better now?” John narrowed his eyes and glanced at Sherry.
It was a simple sentence that seemed cold, but Sherry could still understand a strange emotion on his expressionless face. She knew that Old Master Rowland was a very serious person and she knew that he had never married since the death of William’s mother.
She also knew that he had had no mistresses over the years and that people respected someone like him.
“Ya! Much better already.”
“While you’re at it, get married first!” said John without missing a beat.
Sherry froze when the subject of marriage came up. She wasn’t ready.
“What, you don’t want to marry William?” John gave Sherry a look, frozen and disgusted.
“No, I don’t, Mr. Rowland!” Sherry was quick to deny it.
She just felt that there were some things that had not yet been fully resolved. Although she and William had a very deep relationship, she hadn’t really thought about getting married in a hurry.
Marriage was a lifelong affair, so it had to be carefully considered, right?
“Then get married next week. Tell your father that although he was very rude to me last time because of his impatience, I will forgive him.” John said seriously.
“Uh! Yes!” Sherry had already heard from William that Cohen Sutton had done something last time.
He took Dan and Sammy with him. John’s attention had been on Dan these past few days. At first, the boy was very animated, but he had suddenly become very quiet over the last couple of days not knowing what had happened.
Right now, Dan was sitting on the couch with his eyebrows furrowed and had a cold expression, as if he had something on his mind.
“Boy, what are you thinking, frowning so hard?”
As soon as he looked up and saw John, Dan merely raised his eyelids and snorted, “Mr. Rowland, I’m annoyed, don’t bother me!”
“Ugh! What’s bothering you?” John was surprised that the word ‘bothering’ came from a five year old. “Tell me what it is!”
“You wouldn’t understand if I told you!” Dan shook his head.
William walked over to Sammy and handed him to Sherry, “Dan was surrounded by a bunch of little nymphomaniac girls today, and one girl threatened to marry him. Dad, girls these days are really weird!”
“Did that happen?” John pursed his lips, the corners of his mouth unconsciously smiling. “I remember you had a very depressing period when you were a kid, didn’t you? Seems some people said they wanted to marry you too.”
Sherry looked up. She remembered asking William in the car if he had ever been kissed as a child. But William was careless, so she guessed something like that had happened!
“Sammy, did a girl say she wanted to marry you?” William rambled and asked Sammy.
He was trying to divert Sherry’s attention, as he saw the suspicious gleam in her eyes again, a look that enraptured him. “Daddy, I have decided to marry Alba, we have agreed that when she grows up, I will ride my white horse to her and make her my bride!” announced Sammy to everyone with a big smile on his face.
