William was surprised to be called by Cohen Sutton, he took a look around and discovered he was still at the KTV.

Sherry, coming out of the study room, showed a pale face, and saw Sammy and Dan standing in the hallway. Two of them wore a worried expression.

Sherry felt the pain in her heart, she felt guilty for them. She walked quickly to them and hugged them, “I’m sorry! Mom is wrong. Mommy shouldn’t be so selfish, how can Mommy go on a trip without taking both of you, how can Mommy not care about your feelings?”

“Mommy, what’s wrong with you and Mr. Rowland?” asked Dan sadly.

“Mommy, don’t you love Daddy anymore?” Sammy was sensitive, her voice trembling, and she spoke softly, “Mommy, does Daddy make you mad? Why don’t you love Daddy anymore? Daddy is so pitiful!”

“No! Mommy is mean!” Sherry shook her head, “It’s Mommy’s fault!”.

“Why doesn’t Daddy come anymore?” Sammy looked up and saw Sherry crying.

He wiped her tears away with his hand, “Mommy, why are you crying?”

Sherry couldn’t describe her feeling now, how she could immerse herself in her pain and not care about the children, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, Mommy is too selfish! How can Mommy think only of me and always be depressed, Forget that you will be sad too!”

“Mom, can you go see Dad now?” asked Sammy.

“Yes! Mommy will see him now, Mommy will get Daddy back for you!” She lifted her head and wiped away her tears, “Daddy, I’ll see William now!”

“I’ll follow Mommy!” said Sammy hurriedly.

“No!” Dan shook his head and pulled Sammy, “Mommy has something to talk to your daddy, we won’t disturb them. We’ll leave after they make up.”

“It’s okay, Dan is so smart!” Cohen took his grandchildren’s hands, “I’ll ask Keegan to send them over there! No, I’ll ask William to come!”

“No! Dad, I’ll see him by myself!” he ran off.

Cohen glanced at the time, it was 1.30 am! He sighed, “Is this how men and women in love tantalize each other day and night?”

When he looked down, he saw that the two children were so tired they couldn’t open their eyes.

“Will he be here?” Keegan asked.

“Ok!” Sherry nodded and ran into the villa.

Keegan then left and shook his head, he took a look at the star in the sky. He felt lonely again that night!

The house was dark, Sherry glanced at the familiar place with unsteady emotion, this was the place where she first met him, he was wearing a fox mask.

He had a pair of sharp looks, she remembered those looks were scary. Later, however, there was only affection in his eyes when he gave her a look. But she always seemed to escape, they had experienced so much, so much! Why didn’t he believe her, she was so stupid, so guilty!

At the family home, Sherry couldn’t hold back the tears, she slowly climbed the stairs. The sweetest memory between her and William was there.

As she climbed the stairs, the doorbell rang. She was startled, stood on the stairs and glanced at the door.

After inserting the key, the door opened, a tall silhouette appeared in the doorway. She saw that the chalet light was on, she thought she was dreaming. He could not believe it. No one had the key, except the part-time cleaner and Sherry.

He hoped it was true, but he didn’t believe it. Her heart was trembling, she was afraid the person wasn’t Sherry. Her heart raced when she saw the person standing on the stairs after opening the door.

His eyes were bloodshot, his tears were falling.

She gave him a glance, he looked at her. His silhouette was very tall, his black eyes were deep, his sight seemed to look at her like the stars in the dark night.

She bit her lips, her voice trembled, “You’re back!”.

He confirmed that it was her voice, not his illusion. Suddenly, he took a step forward and moved to her forehead swiftly. He lowered his head to look at her and gasped loudly. She could smell the tobacco on his body, the odor was very strong.

She felt the pain in her heart, he was drunk, he drank a lot, his shirt was wrinkled. He was not his normal pattern. She gave him a tearful look, caressed William’s cheek.

William said she was getting thinner, indeed it was he who was getting thinner, even his chin became very sharp.

Her beautiful hand caressed William’s face, Sherry covered her mouth to reduce the sound of her crying, “Why has he become so emaciated, I won’t let you drink again!” She said as she sobbed, “Why don’t you take care of yourself?”

He hugged her tightly, his lips curved. With a warm embrace and a warm smell, William bent his body to lift Sherry and ran to this second floor.

He kicked open the door and set her on the bed. He squatted down next to the bed, grabbed her small hand and asked in a thick voice, “When are you coming?”

“He just got here!” She said in a trembling voice.

“Will he leave again?” He asked instinctively.

She was stunned and shook her head. He was in disbelief and looked at her. They didn’t speak for the moment, they enjoyed the sensation lovingly.

“I’m sorry!” Sherry said softly, she could feel William’s hand stiffen and continued, “I’m the one who didn’t believe you! I’m sorry!”

“Sherry…” William didn’t know what she was referring to but it seemed to him that she was talking about the accident.

“William, I’m sorry. I don’t love you decisively, I’m so inferior that I choose to be cowardly, I don’t believe you, I’m too selfish! I even suspect you’re lying and I suspect you’re cheating on me.”

Sherry’s tears fell silently, she felt so guilty.

“My silly wife, don’t apologize to me. I have to take responsibility for your father’s death. If I can cut him some slack, maybe he didn’t suffer the accident!” Tears showed in William’s deep looks, and he reached out to embrace her, “We shall never be parted again!”

She reached out shyly and grabbed his neck, buried her flushed face in his neck and breathed to calm her emotion, “First go take a bath, I’ll cook you something! Are you drinking on an empty stomach?”

William nodded and smiled gently.

His gentle gaze looked at Sherry and lifted her up. Then, he began to take off his shirt! Sherry was shocked, her face turning even redder. Even though she had already seen his naked body, she couldn’t control her face from blushing when he took off his shirt.

She turned and wanted to run away, better go downstairs and cook him something! But he pulled her after taking off his jacket, she was shocked.

Due to inertia, she didn’t manage to stay stable and fell on his body. He kissed her right away, his mouth was full of the smell of beer. She was breathing rapidly, her heart was pounding and was about to burst out of her chest.

Sherry put her hand on his chest and didn’t know what to do, she wanted to push him away but wasn’t able to.

She heard him murmur, “Are you traveling tomorrow?”.

She was surprised, “How do you know?”.

“Follow me to go on a business trip to the U.S. tomorrow! When Dan and Sammy are on vacation, we’re going to Hokkaido!” He said in her ear.

She was confused. “Will you leave me again?”

He didn’t seem at ease, he asked softly in her ear. Sherry’s heart pumped rapidly, “I won’t! I swear I won’t do it again.” Her voice was rough, she allowed him to hold her tightly and didn’t say a word. “If you’re alive, you’re my wife; if you die, you’re my ghost wife!” He said.

“Yes!” She raised her head, “Faster, go bathe, you smell so bad!”.

“Can’t you stand my smell? I haven’t had a bath for three days.” She said in an aggrieved tone.

His punishment was too harsh, he didn’t want to survive anymore, he didn’t even mention bathing!

“Yes! I detest your smell, so stinky! Ho, ho!” She said as she leaned on William’s shoulders affectionately, she enjoyed the warm moment between them and said, “After you bathe, change your clothes and eat downstairs!”

“Good!” William caressed her face, smiled and gazed at her pretty features, he said softly, “I’ll eat the food and you.”
