William opened his laptop and clicked on the email. He frowned deeply as he looked at it, “What is this?”.

The document was a manuscript, incidents related to the Rowland Group were written in detail on it.

His phone rang. Peter pushed Darcy away and his eyes turned stern. He said in a frigid tone of voice, “Hello, dear Miss Rhodes, why aren’t you out yet?” Darcy said nothing. He poured more alcohol into the empty glass and showed no emotion in his expression. But at the same time, she reached out her hands and caressed Peter’s bare chest. Peter, who was on the phone, tensed up. “You know what I’m going to do to you if the news isn’t in by tomorrow!” shouted Peter as he hung up the call.

Sherry was touched. She hugged him back tightly and suddenly thought of what William had told her the other day, ‘You can’t hug any other man but me. That includes Dan and Sammy.’ She laughed just thinking about it.

Dan was his son. He wouldn’t go around hugging just any man, but…why couldn’t he hug his own son?

“I thought you didn’t like girls,” Sherry said.

“I don’t like girls who aren’t in my family. I like you and so does my future sister,” Dan said cheerfully. His face was elongated, “If I have a sister, I’ll protect her with all my might…”.

Dan thought a bit and said, “Then you and Mr. Rowland should try harder to give me a sister too. A brother would be nice too. Don’t worry, Mom. Sammy and I would love them all.”

“Mom, is that Mr. Rowland?” Dan knew it was William just by taking one look at his mother’s face.

“You’re so red!” Dan gave Sherry a big sloppy kiss, “Mom, I’m going to Sammy and Grandma Susan’s to watch TV with them!”

“Grandma Susan?” Sherry was taken aback. Her phone continued to ring.

“Yes, Mr. Sutton said we have to call her Grandma Susan from now on – she’ll be our grandmother! Mom, she’ll be Mr. Sutton’s second wife!”

“Mom, hurry up and take that phone call!” said Dan. Then he closed the door for Sherry out of politeness.

Sherry took a deep breath and called, “Hello?”

“Did you miss me?” said William in his deep, magnetic voice.

Sherry blushed, “Are you doing well with your jet lag?”.

“Darling, I miss you!” said William.

Sherry felt like she was dreaming, as she could hear his voice close to her ears even though they were miles away. Her heart began to beat faster. Of course she missed him. But she was embarrassed to tell him directly.

William was disappointed to see that Sherry didn’t say anything, “No? Then I’m hanging up!”. Sherry got nervous when she heard that he was going to hang up the call. He said before: “Miss…” Then she heard his melodious laugh.

Peter smiled as he read the newspaper in his hand, “The game has just begun!”

“Are you planning to destroy the Rowland Group?” said Darcy as he approached.

“What if I do?” said Peter as he arched his eyebrow, “He made Lucille go crazy, don’t you want revenge?”

“This doesn’t make any sense. More evidence is going to turn up and even if the Rowland Group survives this, It will be thoroughly investigated! Sometimes I wonder if you really loved my sister!” said Darcy with a crooked smile on his face.

“You and William don’t love her, and the one who really loved her was Reggie!”. Peter scoffed, “What good is love? If I really love your sister, why would I wait until now?”.

“What’s your problem with William Rowland anyway?” asked Darcy as her soft body trembled. She said in surprise, “You know it’s not that easy to defeat him!”

“Well, that’s why I’ve been planning this for so many years! The only way to destroy him is to make him disappear from this earth,” Peter said in a gentle tone of voice, though the content of his speech was brutal.

“Isn’t he your best friend?”

Peter scoffed again as he saw the shocked expression on Darcy’s face, “Yes, we are!”.

“So what? It’s more fun that way, I’ll destroy him and the Rowland Group!” said Peter with a dark, villainous look in his eyes. He gritted his teeth and said, “The best day of my life will be the day I see him lose everything!”.

“Whew, you’re terrifying!” said Darcy as he raised his glass. “But whatever happens, I want that bitch Sherry to meet a fate worse than death! I don’t care about anything else.”

“Wait and see! I’ll make her suffer twice as much pain as she inflicted on me and Lucille!” Peter sneered. “Sherry Murray doesn’t even deserve to be mentioned! Wait, tomorrow’s news will be even better!”
