Alexis was silent for a moment, “Are you sure you want to know?”

“I want to know, no one can hurt my wife like that!” William was determined.

After that, two words came out of the phone.

“Darcy Mclean!” William gasped, he really wasn’t expecting it.

“Are you saying she was the one who got those people to treat Sherry like that? She actually went and got five people to try to rape Sherry?”

“Damn it, I’ll be right there!” William hung up the phone.

It was Darcy! A flurry of disgust gripped his heart; making his heart feel very complicated. Unable to take it any longer, he brandished his fist and slammed it hard against the wall, the snow-white wall instantly stained with blood. The color was the same as the color of his red eyes filled with anger, giving a terrifying feeling.

Did Darcy almost hurt Sherry? How could she be so merciless? The girl who used to be as innocent as Lucille, though her facial nerves were damaged from childhood, giving her a permanent cold expression, had always been so kind. How could this happen, she thought.

“Will! What are you doing?” once again, Liam, who had arrived, rushed over and pulled William by the hand. “Are you hurting yourself?”

He had managed to get his father and second uncle back, he also knew at last that Cohen Sutton was his second uncle, who was sent to jail by his father because of some gang fights that happened back then.

So, for many years, the second uncle never set foot in the Brooks Family again. He could imagine the kind of character his father had.

William then saw Darcy who was sitting on the couch and at that moment, he had some mixed emotions. Anger, pity, what was it that made sisters like them become so paranoid? When Darcy looked up and saw William and Liam, a flash of panic appeared on her face.

After pausing, she said to Liam, “Liam, get me out of this place, this person is illegally imprisoning me.”

Liam shuddered, if he took her and left, he would be as good as dead!

Darcy ran towards him and made a motion as if she wanted to wrap her arms around Liam. Liam quickly responded by hiding behind William.

“Darcy, if you have something to say, you don’t have to come near me to say it! My allergies will flare up if you touch me.”

It was clear he didn’t want to hug her, not even a little. Darcy gaped. She gritted her teeth and didn’t move again, but her eyes gave off a cold feeling.

When William looked at her, he was surrounded by the light emitting from the sunset and it all seemed unreal for a moment.

However, she could feel the aura of coldness surrounding him.

“Why?” asked William in a deep voice.

Darcy was stunned, her hand clenched into a fist, and she looked back at Liam, who stood behind her. Narrowing her eyes, she realized he was avoiding her and knew he would continue to avoid her.

After six years, is he still avoiding her?

Liam looked at her too, his eyes were full of confusion, he couldn’t believe that such a wonderful night he had six years ago was with a terrible woman like Darcy, he smiled and said unnaturally, “Darcy, don’t look at me like that, I’m so afraid of your looks!” Alexis turned away as she smoked a cigarette.

“Take care of that; I have to go!”

William nodded his head. “Thanks!”

Alexis patted William on the shoulder as their gazes met, “Contact me if you need anything!”

“Okay!” William nodded again.

The only ones left in the room were William, Liam and Darcy.

“Why?” William’s sharp eyes were as deep as the sea, making it impossible to ignore him and scaring Darcy in the process.

“This is because I really hate Sherry, I hate that she gave birth to your child and took away the happiness that belongs to my sister!” Darcy roared, his lips pursed, indescribable anger and jealousy showing on his face. “Why should she be the one to have happiness so easily? Why, why, why should my sister and I have to endure the torment?”

“Darcy!” cried Liam under his breath.

Her looks made people worry, especially after Lucille became ill and their mother died from mental illness. So when he saw her like this, he worried that she might be sick too.

He tensed as he glanced at Darcy, the little sister he had cared for for so long, how could she be so paranoid?

His gaze seemed like a sharp blade digging into her eyes. Darcy dodged him, then gave him a hard look and roared, “I just can’t stand to see you happy! I just want to destroy you.”

“Aren’t you afraid of going to jail?” William’s cold voice drifted through the air, hovering in silence.

After being stunned for a while, Darcy finally realized her situation, then anxiously shook her head and said, “I don’t want to go to jail, I won’t go to jail! Why should I go to jail? I want to take care of my sister. Liam, you said you would marry me! You better not lie to me; I want to marry you!”

“Darcy, calm down!” Liam still had pangs of conscience, but he kept shaking his head. “I’m sorry, I don’t think I can marry you!”

“You didn’t keep your promise!” Darcy glared at him and shouted loudly, “I have waited for you for many years, but now you say you don’t love me!”

“Darcy, that night was a mistake!” Liam began to feel a little depressed. “And now, my father has put you on the spot, so I’m afraid you’ll have to go to jail. Fortunately, Sherry wasn’t hurt, so you won’t be in jail for long.”

Darcy’s body shuddered and she began to shake her head angrily. “No! I’m not going to jail; I don’t want to! I hate you guys! I hate you William, I hate Sherry, I hate Liam, I hate Sarah! I hate all of you! Bahahaha…”

Liam gave Darcy a look, surprised. “Why do you hate Sarah, how did Sarah make you mad?”

“Ha! How did she piss me off?” Darcy let out a wild laugh, followed by some bitterness in her expression.

She could feel a pain numbing her heart, destroying all her hopes and dreams. It didn’t matter, Liam never looked at her, he had never looked at her seriously!

“Yes! Why do you hate Sarah?” Liam raised his eyebrows as more questions began to pop into his head.

“I don’t want to tell you! Bahahaha…” Darcy continued to laugh.

If Sarah Brooks had never been born into this world, if that woman had never been born, everything she had would belong to her and the person Liam loved would be her.

The only reason Liam didn’t love her was because of Sarah. Liam looked at her in confusion and then looked at William, who also didn’t know what Darcy was talking about.

“Ha, Liam, you don’t like me, do you?”. Darcy suddenly seemed more cheerful.

A flash of fear came to Liam’s heart, because her look at him was actually a little frightening. However, he couldn’t fool himself. Since it was better to fix things now, he gritted his teeth and nodded his head.

“Yes! I never liked you at all!”

“I knew you didn’t like me!” Darcy’s eyes glazed over, and then she shouted annoyed at Liam saying, “Liam, no one can get what I can get, especially Sarah. Even if I’m destined to go to hell, I’ll drag you and Sarah down with me, hahahahaha…. In these five years, she must feel even worse than being in hell…” All the words he said were cold and mad, Darcy’s eyes gave off the ultimate feeling of despair. “Humph, let me go to jail, all right, I’ll go to jail! Take me away.”

Liam didn’t understand. “What did you say?”

Why did he say that for the past five years, Sarah was even more miserable than living in hell? Liam sank into deep musings, his thoughts guided by what Darcy had just said.
